Book Title: Dragon’s keep

Author: Janet Lee Carey

I liked this book a lot because, like any good book, it wouldn’t let me put it down! Set in the medieval times, this book starts with a prophecy about a queen, but it’s not till hundreds of years later that this prophecy is fulfilled. With princesses, princes, dragons, knights, and romance this book contains everything a medieval book should.

Book Title: Inkheart

Author: Cornelia Funke

Inkheart is the first book of this trilogy. I loved this book along with this series because of all the twisting and turning of events. Cornelia’s idea of reading characters in and out of books is just the sort of fantasy many book lovers have had and she made this fantasy into a wonderful story. By the time I had finished the series I felt like I had been along for the whole adventure and the characters were now my best friends!

Book Title: Ruler of the Realm

Author: Herbie Brennan

I didn’t like this book for several reasons. First of all it contained a lot of language and crude jokes. Secondly I didn’t like some of the characters like the lesbian mom. Finally I didn’t like the plot of this story. It made me uncomfortable because of the attempt to force two youth to have a child.
